Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been touted as the one of the most effective treatments used to treat the symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as menopause and andropause. Recent studies from the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel show that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has yet another miraculous benefit: studies prove that HRT greatly reduces the risk of colorectal cancer (by 63%) in post-menopausal women.
