About Dr. Hall
Paula Hall, D.O. practices anti-aging and preventive medicine in the Ft. Lauderdale-based practice that she shares with fellow BodyLogicMD physician Dr. Jeff Thackrey. Dr. Paula Hall helps men and women overcome the many symptoms of menopause and andropause (the male menopause) such as weight gain, low libido, depression, fatigue, hot flashes and stress.
As a former primary care physician, Dr. Hall wanted to offer her patients who were struggling with symptoms of hormonal imbalance a safe and natural alternative to traditional medicine. In addition to using bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to correct hormonal imbalance in men and women, Dr. Hall encourages all of her patients to make lifestyle improvements on their own. She also helps her patients devise a customized plan to incorporate more physical activity and stress reduction in their day to day lives, in addition to recommending proper supplementation, and nutrition plans to meet her patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Hall is passionate about resolving many of the underlying health complications in aging men and women, at their source, as opposed to treating a constellation of symptoms. Her drive stems from her own personal experience. In her 30’s, she had premature ovarian failure which went undiagnosed by six different doctors. After finding that traditional hormone therapy led to numerous, negative side effects, in addition to necessitating multiple surgeries, she began her search for more holistic approaches. She subsequently found BHRT and decided to make the transition into preventive medicine from family medicine.
Dr. Paula Hall is an Advanced Fellow in the Fellowship in Regenerative & Functional Medicine and a member of the American Academy for Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine (A4M).
Dr. Hall received her undergrad from Florida International University in 1988. She then graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Dr. Paula Hall completed her internship at Pinellas Community Hospital in 1995, and fulfilled her residency in 2000. Following her education, Dr. Hall opened her own family practice in 2003. She is board certified as a family practitioner.
